What's the book about?
The 13 treasures is about a girl named Tanya who has 'the second sight' which is the ability to see fairies. The fairies Tannya sees are no ordinary fairies, they are evil fairies that torment her if she even writes of their exsistance in a diary. Her mother does not know of this and sends Tanya away to her grandmothers' house for the summer because of her talk of 'fairies'. While Tanya is at her Grandmothers' house she disvovers an unsolved mystery. A girl in the village of Tickey-end vanished fifty years ago and her grandfather was the last person to see her alive. Ever since he has been under suspicion by the locals. Tanya and the caretakers son Fabian try and find an answer to the girls disappearance, but Tanya has her own secret to keep and she must let no one know she can see fairies. Tanya and Fabian put themselves both at risk and wind up in terrible danger.
